No time to come to campus? There are still plenty of other ways for you to get involved, wherever you’re based..

Leeds Network

You can join the Leeds Network.

This is an online careers resource for alumni to pass on valuable advice and knowledge to current students. Simply create an online profile to describe your job, career path and tips for those looking to get into your industry.

If you wish, students can contact you with further questions and you can control how many of these you receive a month.

Find out more information here, or sign up directly here.

Alumni Ambassadors

You can spread the word about your love for Leeds wherever you are in the world.

Alumni Ambassadors go into schools and colleges to speak to prospective students about their experiences studying at Leeds and how their time at the University has helped their career.

As an Ambassador, you would play an important role in raising aspirations to higher education as well as encouraging students to consider coming to Leeds.

You will receive support and all the information you need to become a fantastic advocate for Leeds. If you would like any more information, please contact Alumni Volunteering.

You can share your career expertise and advise a current student through one of the mentoring schemes across campus.

Members of staff will look carefully at your application form to ensure you are matched with the most suitable student with an interest in your industry.

Currently, the following schools have mentoring schemes which you can get involved with:

Business School
School of Music
School of Law
Faculty of Biological Sciences
School of Media and Communications
