Stay involved with Leeds

.

Thank you...

...to all our alumni volunteers. Helping Leeds students build their futures.

.

Why alumni volunteers are important

Alumni volunteers can help students develop their employability skills by giving them expert industry advice, insight and experience.

What’s in it for you

The impact our alumni volunteers have on our students is immeasurable. Alumni have changed so many lives and helped students at Leeds in a multitude of ways, but what’s in it for you?

Spread the word

As University of Leeds alumni, you are our greatest advocates. If you loved your time at Leeds, share your experience with others.

Volunteer from home

No time to come to campus? There are still plenty of other ways for you to get involved, wherever you’re based.

Volunteer on campus

Coming back to campus to speak to current students is a great excuse to revisit the University and past memories.

Volunteer from work

Inspire our students by showing them a snapshot of your industry.

Star pick: Join over 1000 alumni on the Leeds Network as an easy way to help current students find the right career path for them!

Your volunteering story

Have you attended a careers event on campus? Do you mentor students? Are you an alumni ambassador?

We would love you to share your own alumni volunteering experience. Please send your stories, comments and feedback to l.j.h.moulds@leeds.ac.uk to join the discussion about what it means to be an alumni volunteer.

"Even if your job doesn't pay highly or you have a family to support, you don't necessarily need to donate to give something back. Spare some of your time to help fellow alumni - the satisfaction you get, and the help they receive is worth more than the money itself." Craig Morley (BA Geography 2005)
