Catherine Graves

Catherine is a PhD student from the School of Earth and Environment and the Priestley International Centre for Climate, exploring how to encourage pro-environmental behaviour and the role Virtual Reality (VR) could have in this.

VR films, games and experiences have exploded in popularity and are also increasingly being used in research. Catherine's work examines what role VR can have in contributing to the behaviour change required to mitigate climate change.

Catherine joined the School of Earth and Environment as a PhD student in 2018, having previously worked in sustainability operations and research roles in the University, and is currently also working on a COP26 project on climate change education in UK Higher Education.
