If you are interested in organising a get together but aren't sure where to start, here are some ideas to get you thinking:

Practical projects:

  • Organise a walk or run and fill up bags with rubbish collected along the way
  • Work with a conservation group to plant trees or create a garden space
  • Collect clothes, furniture or books to give to a local charity

Social gatherings:

  • Organise a talk by a fellow graduate who works in sustainable development
  • Have dinner in a vegetarian or vegan restaurant
  • Fundraise for a local charity

Sign up now to register your interest or for more information.

And we’re here to help! We’ll send you the step by step BGT organiser’s guide which is full of ideas and suggestions, we’ll publicise your event to alumni in your area and we’ll provide you with resources to share with guests to fly the flag for Leeds.
