Leeds alumni online encourages alumni to connect with the alumni community and with the University of Leeds. It is run by the University of Leeds alumni and development team, which advances the interests of the University of Leeds through fostering affinity with its alumni.
Leeds alumni online is available to the University of Leeds alumni community, including selected members of University staff and occasional authorized guests. Parts of the site, which contain general information, can be viewed by the general public without needing to register.
The University of Leeds holds copyright and all other intellectual property rights in all materials on the web pages, unless otherwise indicated. For permission to use content of these pages elsewhere, you must first obtain the University’s written consent through its alumni and development team
You are fully responsible for any interaction done by your user name and must not share your user name or password. You must exit from or log out of Leeds alumni online when you are finished using the site to ensure that others will not access our community.
The University reserves the right to refuse any application for membership of Leeds alumni online and is under no obligation to divulge to any applicant the reason why their registration has been unsuccessful.

The alumni and development team sends out email newsletters that contain news about alumni and the University, events invitations, requests for volunteering and fundraising requests. You can choose which emails you would not like to receive here
Accuracy of information
The alumni and development team will monitor the content of Leeds alumni online and may decide to remove items at any time without reason. However, the University does not accept responsibility for errors in accuracy of the information presented on these pages.

The alumni and development team reserves the right to remove inappropriate entries on the alumni books and member posts pages and withdraw the rights of members who misuse these services by posting offensive or misleading entries or entries relating to unlawful activity of any sort.
The alumni and development team is purely a medium of introduction and we do not endorse the products and services offered through alumni books and alumni member posts pages. It is neither an agent of members offering services or members who subsequently contact alumni who post on alumni books or member post pages. All communications and transactions are completed entirely at members’ own risk without liability upon the University. The University offers no guarantees as to the performance of the offers in the member post pages.
Credit card details
Where credit card details have been requested as part of a transaction with the University, these details will be encrypted and handled by a secure web server using SSL technology.
Suspension of membership
The University reserves the right to suspend and terminate the account of users and membership of alumni at any time and for any reason. Any user who is suspended has the right of appeal to the alumni and development team, but the ultimate decision whether to allow the reconnection of a suspended user rests with the alumni and development team.
This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the User and the University and may not be varied unless agreed in writing by the Head of the University's Alumni and Development team.
This Agreement is subject to English law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
